Average Jamaica Temperatures.
Jamaica’s climate is tropical and is one of the few nations that enjoy a somewhat consistent low and high temperature throughout the year across the entire country. The average temperature in Jamaica is about 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Low temperatures range from the low 70′s to the the high 80′s with summers slightly warmer than the winter months.
Even during the warmer summer months, the early morning temperatures linger around a comfortable 79 degrees Fahrenheit gradually rising to reach a average high of around 87 degrees in the early afternoon.
Rainfall and Humidity.
Humidity can reach levels of about 70% with the highest levels along the coastal areas but cool breezes should make you feel comfortable. Summer and Fall are the most humid months, with Spring being the most ideal.
Rainfall averages about 78 inches annually with most of the rain occurring in the Blue Mountains. The least rainfall is in the early mornings hours with the heaviest rain periods during late afternoons. Heavy downpours are fairly common on the coasts, but are usually of short duration.
