Project Give Back Jamaica
Basic Education Schooling (Head Start ) is not free in Jamaica and can be extremely hard on a family in Jamaica especially in large families. No free transportation, lunch, books, No free school until Kindergarten. Paying for basic education (preschool) is a huge financial burden for poor families and as such creates children who are inadequately prepared for the competitive world . “Project Give Back Jamaica” is seeking your help, together we can find a way to ease the financial burden and give hope to a child.
First Project: DelaVega City Basic School Spanish Town Jamaica….65 children and approx. 3-4 teachers who have not been paid for month’s but are still dedicated to teaching and being there for the children seeing that they get some chance at an Education. The Jamaican Government does not fund Basic Schooling as it then is left up to the Community to fund the school, teachers and the children….hence is where…“PROJECT GIVE BACK JAMAICA” comes into the picture. They need your help to ensure that not only these teachers and 65 beautiful little children at Delavega City Basic School get help and funding but that schools all throughout Jamaica and schools World Wide get the help they need just to keep the schools open and maintained, teachers paid and making sure every child has an early start at an Education.
