Beautiful Cottage in the Blue Mountains
Blue Mountain Loft is a two bedroom/loft garden cottage set in 1.5 acres of lawns and beautiful mountainside gardens. It is located in Irish Town, St Andrew hills outside Kingston, Jamaica. It is a 45 minute drive from the Norman Manley International Airport. The property is very private, giving guests the ability to completely relax. There is a view of the Blue Mountains from the property.
This property also has charm and history. It was once called home by world famous musician Sonny Bradshaw (Big Band) and internationally renowned singer Merna Hague. This cozy cottage was also the home of famous Jamaican actor, comedian and playwright Charles “Charlie” Hyatt.
From the cottage, you can enjoy a Jamaican historical trip to Port Royal, take a boat ride to Lyme Cay, visit the Bob Marley Museum, tour Devon House or spend a beautiful Jamaican day at the beach at Hellshire where you can enjoy as many fish and festivals as your heart desires. At night-time, go clubbing along the New Kingston hip strip, Mass Camp or any of the numerous carnival, parties and festivals that fill the Jamaican social scene.
