Dyana Gampel

DYANA GAMPEL grew up in Montreal, Canada and with it being a cultural melting pot she was surrounded by many different cultures, most of her friends were of Jamaican heritage. Being blessed with so many good friends who were Jamaican her first trip to Jamaica was in 1999 and that’s when her love for Jamaica grew even more and from that point the deal was sealed.

Dyana has continued to visit Jamaica as often as she can, her love of the island and its people kept her coming back. She realized that some of the best times of her life and the best people she’s met have been in areas least traveled by tourists. She knows and loves Jamaica! Her friends were always calling her for trip advice and planning, and she knew that Jamaican trip planning was her thing. When the opportunity arose Dyana hopped on board to help make Do Jamaica Your Way your local travel go to site! Dyana is now the main contact for Do Jamaica Your way as Kristi is currently working on other endeavors.

Kristi Keller

KRISTI KELLER was born and raised in Calgary, Canada and has been doing Jamaica her way since 2003, when she won a free trip and fell in love with the country. She loved it so much that she purchased another ticket and was back two months later, staying in the countryside with a Jamaican family in their home. Her greatest pleasure when visiting the island is to be on the level of the local people and truly experience all things the country has to offer without setting foot inside a resort unless she has to.

Her travels inspired her to start writing about it early in 2009 and she’s developed a large following of readers on her blog entitled Jamaica MY Way. She created Do Jamaica Your Way, but has stepped back and decided to focus on her own interests.
